Tomorrow is a big day for us as Tanner will be having his first meal! He turns 6 months tomorrow and we've been waiting for this day since he was born... well kind of. Thinking about what's going to be on his first menu naturally led me to think about buying organic. I still have week or so before he gets onto veggies, so I've been doing a little research on organic food. I must say I'm pleasantly surprised by the variety of organic food here. Talking to most of my mommy friends, it seems like the Japanese supermarket in Jiu Guang on Nanjing Lu has the best assortment of organic veggies and baby snacks. I really never realized how "green" Shanghai really is until I had Tanner. If you wanted to go fully organic, I don't think it would be that difficult here. From organic yogurt, to clothing, to even formula! Who knew! So it seems like getting the ingredients will be easy, now just gotta figure out how to make the food... to be continued...
