Maybe it's because I worked last weekend (aww!) or the horrible feeling that this sunshine won't last until Saturday, but this week seems to be stretching out forever like Christina Aguilera singing "The Star Spangled Banner".

My normal method of coping for the week is to pretend Monday isn't happening, allow Tuesday to pass by in a fog of prescription pain-killers and aerosol abuse, then regain consciousness on Wednesday afternoon knowing that the week is half done.

Unfortunately the weather has been affecting my sleep and I've been waking up with the male medical condition known as "ball soup", or if I use the a/c- a dry neck and a stiff mouth. Wait. Scratch that, reverse it.

Bring on the weekend- I can cope with anything if there's a beer in my hand.
