"Ladies" Night
Shanghai is, without doubt, a city for the single man.
So much so that I’m thinking about starting a service at Pudong airport for visiting businessmen to check in their wedding rings for the duration of the trip.
I fell for a girl on pretty much my first night in town so have never really dipped my toe in the murky waters of the bachelor scene, but a recently single friend tells me that it's like being a Fox in a Chicken coop- so many birds, so little time.
Tomorrow night then, I’m accompanying him to the battery farm known as “Ladies Night", purely for research purposes you understand.
Zapatas has long been the biggest Ladies Night in town- the women come because Margaritas are free, and as long as their standards go down as quickly as the booze my mate should be quids in.
"If you are unsure whether or not you are a prostitute, please ask"
reads the sign on Zapatas' door which makes you wonder if it's the classiest place in town, but at least I can be fairly sure of not getting a beating from the security staff eh?
