With all of the text messages that I have been receiving lately, It's hard to miss the fact that PinkHome is back. While being discrete is a quality that many gays in Shanghai possess, PinkHome's management lacks this quality at the moment. Just weeks after it got busted for drugs, they are having a "leather party" this Saturday night (April 5). While I won't be going (those leather fetishists are too bossy for me), my spies will be telling me all about it.

With expats choosing to cool off at Shanghai Studio and Eddy's these days, locals tell me that many gays are going to M Seven bar. I haven't heard too much about the club other than that it used to be dkd and it was straighter than an arrow. However, now the club seems to be catering to more of the local Shanghai boys. With the recent crackdowns of gay establishments in both Beijing and Shanghai, I sense that something else might be afoot.
