End of the (Gay) Year: Parties and Reflections

A wee note on the upcoming gay parties around Christmas and New Year's. The Box is hosting a three-day Christmas Under the Sea party, starting from Christmas Even up to Boxing Day. The cover is 120 RMB all you can drink and the pre-sale price is 100 RMB. Not as extravagant as Club D2, the Box is certainly making an effort for downtown gay-club goers by hiring muscled male dancers and PSing alluring posters.

On New Year's Eve, the Box is hosting a Hot Flames New Year's Eve party. For some reason, they decided on New Year's Eve you don't do "all you can drink" while Christmas is for drinking. Cover: 70 RMB, 50 RMB pre-sale.

Club D2 is certainly not missing out the year end's pink yuan opportunity. D2 has dance parties throughout Christmas and New Year's Eve also.

However, the end of the year might also be a time for reflections. What have I done this year, and what am I going to do with my life in the new year? Gay or straight, don't we all have to face these questions once in a while?

Happy Christmas and New Year to all Shanghailanders!
