"What to wear, what to wear?"
It's all I ever hear this week as Shanghai's movers and shakers get set for one of the biggest dress-ups of the year: Halloween!
Hailing from Australia I always thought Halloween was about dressing up as witches and ghosts and spooking the neighbours, but no, it is a once a year chance to wear whatever and go whereever and generally spread laughter and colour over this fabulous city.
As for what I will wear, well that is a secret. Okay I tell you a lie ... I have no bloody idea! I have a date at my beloved Qipu Lu Couture this Friday where I am sure I will uncover all the bits and pieces I need for a memorable costume, leaving me with just one concern: "Where to go, where to go?"
Fortunately there's plenty going on and your truly is particularly looking forward to the ShanghaiLGBT Halloween pub crawl, taking in the born again D2 at Cool Docks where I shall be judging the costumes (judging other peoples' attires is something that comes naturally to me), and of course the biggest event of all, the Shanghaiist Halloween party at Shanghai Studio.
