A Chef to Snatch Up
In chef news, Sean Jorgensen, formerly of Finestre is free, having recently left The Mansion. I'd spoken to Sean a while back about the situation and he seemed to to feel there was a lot more to be done with The Mansion project but resolute that moving on was the right choice for him.
The Mansion, as many know, has had a hard time holding down a restaurateur or chef, losing first the Wagas group, then Salvatore Cuomo, now Jorgensen. But as Wagas moved on to roomtwentyeight and Bistrow, and Cuomo moved on to Issimo, I'm positive there are plenty of projects for Sean and plenty of venues that would love to have him. Snatch him up folks, he's a catch.

Losing one Chef may be clumsey, losing two damn right forgetful, but losing three. Well that just tells you that the management of The Mansion aren't interested in good food. Good chef's flourish under good management and they have lost some good chefs - thus, clearly crap management!
