Restaurants Heading to Heartbreak Hotel

Just like any romance, the relationship between restaurant, customer, owner, landlord is a fickle one. When it's good, it's great. When it's not, you know. For example, the two El Cubano restaurants (Hongqiao and Jing'an) have parted ways and now have two different owners though the restaurants appear to be remaining the same.

Less amicable "break-ups" yield different results. Neo Cafe has, after giving it a go, shut its doors and stepped out of that relationship and, in another fell swoop, Maneo has now closed as well following its "heartbreak" over the closing of Mint. If your baby's left you, you're just gonna have to find a new place to dwell.
