Popular lifestyle store closes its doors...kind of

Luckily, not quite. Just to the one on Nanjing Xi Lu. The popular Japanese home decor//furniture stationery/clothing (let's just call it "lifestyle") store on will shut its doors on April 15. But don't fret. Aside from still having a giant outlet in Pudong's Super Brand Mall, the plans are that they will shift this space over to Infiniti Mall on Huaihai Lu come October. Hopefully, the expansion will bring in more stock like they have in shops in Hong Kong and Japan, including snacks, makeup and larger pieces of furniture.

We love this label of unbranded goods--which, ironically, is their way of branding--and simple designs that belong in and match with every home and office. The designer in me loves their moldable cushions; the editorial side is addicted to their stationery. Hurry over to the Nanjing Xi Lu branch before it closes, and hold your breath for something bigger and better in the fall.

P.S. Click on the photos to see a Muji-related CW secret.

thank goodness you're not losing Muji completely. They've got some good stuff. I particularly like their modular sofa... would totally get 4 corner units and make a completely closed-in square sofa. How pimp would that be?!?
