Pharaoh - 'Funk The Bund'
Due to the pressures of living in Shanghai/oily food/primitive social habits of some, it's rare that everyone wholeheartedly agrees on something - but no one, NO ONE, could argue that, despite the weird location, 'Funk the Bund' with headliners Pharaoh was simply a good f*ckin' show.
For the 3 people who weren't there (If you weren't there, I've asked CW to discontinue your free subscription):
To see our mustached host Dan in action with his band, The Rouge Transmission, be sure and join the better part of Shanghai this Friday for 'Get In The Van'.

I have to agree, the drums gave off a folk festival vibe, but everyone knew we were there for a FUNK festival.

I deleted that one... Arrrgh.

It was a good show, but those drums banged on toooooo long. Less drums and more Pharaoh early on would have been sweeter, if you ask me.
