PK-14 - a review

Granted, we were pushed to the edge (see ominous pillar in half of the shot), but for those who weren't there (450+ attended), here's a quick recap:

I just want to go on the record and say that the sound is setup so that it sounds best between the stage and the bar -- the area where fans of the band usually stand and/or dance. If you're between the front door and the bar -- the area with all the tables where people are usually sitting, drinking, and talking -- it's not so good. I like it like this ... if you want to get into the band, go to the front, but if you want to get a beer and talk to your friends you can still hold a conversation in the back.

So the place is long and narrow ... when I do add delay stacks it will only be to clarify the sound in the back, but will not significantly increase the volume. Louder != better.

makes sense to me - nothing like being able to hear (names excluded) talk in the back about how tight the lead singer of PK-14's trousers were.
