The Subs deliver again
Obviously by the turn-out last Saturday at the newly-redone Windows Tembo, quite a few people know about The Subs.
In case you don't, forgive the filming attempts from the outer edge of the mosh pit.
(Caution! Very very adult language used!)
Join host Dan and producer Aric Thursday night at the same place for their DJ debuts.

The first band...horribly contrived, and not in a fun, campy way. They pulled out every standard rock and roll cliché, from the CBGB t-shirt to the sock package. I can imagine the Jet poster in their practice space. Subs killed it though.

That should be their new motto The Subs: "Better than a vagina right?"

First band was Mortal Fools - while I like them (really, really nice guys), I do agree that they come dangerously close to being compared to a cover band, even though most of their tunes are their own (with special thanks to Joey Ramone).
Subs - can't say enough. Princess Fantastic did (the final girl at the end), and how can you top that?
Oh, the things girls can get away with saying - try and start a blog here with the V word (I feel bad even typing it) and see how quickly you get crucified.
Subnote: Subs frontgal Kang Mao's other project is fashion-based. See-through shorts and, as Jay pointed out in the vid, day-glo might be the look of the summer.

The show was pretty sweet. I also enjoyed the warm up band's guitarist's Toronto Maple Leafs shirt and the Sub's lead singer's see-through mini-skirt.
