Twin Towers Humorists and some other crap too . . .

So after breifly scouring the douban threads, barely able to decipher the few Chinese characters I know, I came across a web flyer for a show this Thursday at SUS2 (you know, the place next to C's that no one ever goes to), featuring Little Nature/小自然 and Happy Strings (they go by MoMo now, irrelevant). I'm not the sensitive type and have been known to make an inappropriate remark from time to time (okay quite often), but are they making light-hearted humor out of the 9/11 tragedy? Notice the twin-towers in the "1 1" and the lads of LN stomping on New York's skyline. You be the judge.

In other news, there's lots of crap going on this weekend . . . Friday, September 12 @ YuYinTang -- TooKoo w/ special guests Echo Rush, Hard Queen and Wild Cat

Saturday, September 12 @ ZhiJiang Dream Factory -- PK-14 w/ guests Boys Climbing Ropes, Hard Queen, The Rogue Transmission

also

@ LOgO -- Echo Rush

Nice find though, that bar is literally opposite my lane so I'll check it out. These two bands are both recording at the mo. As for poor taste 911 stuff, you should have been here at the time. The street markets were full of junk. I collected a bunch f it and sent it back tot he UK for safe keeping. There was even a hand held old-school LCD video game called Bush vs Bin Laden. You were in a submarine and had to shoot down planes before they hit the towers :( if you cleared a level it played Yankee Doodle. I sh*t you not.
