Would You Camp Out for Krispy Kreme?
As reported earlier, the official opening day of the 169 Wujiang Lu Krispy Kreme shop, the first of its kind in Mainland China, is December 15th. I believe the doors swing open at 7:30am, as that’s supposed to be the regular opening time of the shop.
The prizes for those willing to camp out and/or fight sweet tooth and nail to the front are as follows:
The first customer of the day will get free donuts every week for the whole year. The second and the third customers will get free donuts for six months. The fourth to the sixth get three months free donuts. The 7th~14th will have one month of free donuts.
Prize winners will receive a box of 12 Original Glazed donuts each week during their prize duration.
In addition, the first 500 customers will win prizes such as t-shirts, vacuum cups, and coffee mugs.
Happy camping!
FYI for those not willing to brave the donut mob: Original Glazed will normally sell for ¥7 each.
Lots more donut news here and here.
