Vote for the Next Jelly Belly Flavor!
Okay, it may be too late for you to win the $10,000 prize for submitting the winning bean flavor, but at least you can participate in the democratic candy selection process. I'm rather leaning toward the Thai Iced Tea flavor--let's vote for a bit of Asian flair in the Jelly Belly mix! But the Acai Berry flavor looks intriguing too, do you think you still get the benefits of all those nutritious Acai vitamins despite the miniature candy-form?!
I have always loved Jelly Belly beans, which are to "normal" jelly beans as homemade chocolate chip cookies are to hockey pucks. One of my favorite Jelly Belly flavors is buttered popcorn. How about you?
Too bad I haven't found any place in Shanghai selling Jelly Bellies, but maybe some intrepid entrepreneur will develop a candy bean with "Chinese characteristics". Anyone up for malatang 麻辣烫 jelly beans or how about an egg tart 蛋塔 flavor?
Random fact: Did you know that all Jelly Belly beans are certified OU Kosher by the Orthodox Union? Just one of those important things you learn when surfing the jelly belly website...

They sell them in the Japanese supermarket in the Jing'an Subway station (the booth is right by the check out) and they sell them at the City Supermarket at the Portman. Sure there are others but these two are a start.

uh-oh, I was worried someone would come through with a Shanghai Jelly Belly sales outlet... now, here's just hoping they are too expensive to enjoy too frequently :P

I think you can get them at one of the candy stores on the bottom floor of Raffle's City too. I've seen limited selections in a few candy shops around. Buttered Popcorn? Really? That's one of my least faves, I'm a big fan of Tutti Frutti and Rootbeer. How about a waxberry flavored jelly belly? Yaomei jelly bellies anyone?
