Attica is Closing: Final Night this Weekend
So the rumors are true, Attica is closing after this weekend ... and its' going fast. But this weekend they're hoping to close with a bang. According to Attica's CEO Neil Hardwick,
Yes, we are selling Attica in Shanghai. This weekend everyone's last chance to enjoy Attica for all its good points and less good ones! We will be sending the place that changed the club scene in Shanghai off in style. Saturday is our last night and we are offering a final special with free entry and lots of fun. In summary, the old Attica will be gone after this weekend.
So there we have it, Attica's going. Lots of rumors about what's going to open up in that space but knowing Shanghai, the new owners will have venue up and running posthaste.

i had good times there. wasn't always the greatest but clubs are like that.

I believe that there were 3 full time resident DJ's not 1. And that they also play in some of the other top (as in the number of people they attract) clubs. Attica also hosted some of the worlds best DJ's in its time. But, don't let that get in the way of your nasty little comments.
I also hear that Mr. Hardwick will be running the shitty little boozer in Romainia - but I could be wrong

I hear a rumor that a certain web site (dumb Shanghai or something) is being investigated by the Shanghai police for corruption. Taking bribes for listings. Thanks for all those unbiased reviews and listing guys.
