Why send your sweetie to the store for more bubbly when you can order in? Liquor delivery services are making Shanghai a modern alcoholic's heaven. Stock your fridge in anticipation of the apocalypse or buy all the booze you'll need for that holiday shindig with the click of a mouse. Check out some delivery services dedicated to bringing spirits to your doorstep:

Shanghai9
This same-day delivery service has got customers covered with everything from 59 premium whiskys including Wild Turkey 101 and Glenfarclas 105 to a wide range of non-alcholic juices from Dole pineapple juice (RMB25) to Ocean Spray cranberry juice cocktail (RMB50). Let’s be honest. We’ll just use them as mixers anyways. They’ll do customized cases with Belgian sampler packs with Leifeman’s Cassis and Chimay on request and have quasi-legal Patron (RMB448) to satisfy tequila cravings. Depending on your order they should be able to get it there the same day and there’s no minimum spend, although 12 bottles is the minimum wine order and for orders over RMB500 within Shanghai's inner ring there's free delivery. If you need celebratory favors, they’ve even got Cohiba cigars (RMB2,215-3,095) or top your night off with a mug of Di Bella hot chocolate (RMB88) Why leave the house ever again?

Cheers-In
With Cheers In it’s all about the beer, which is rated by budget, darkness, strength and country of origin. This site has everything from BeerLao (RMB15) to bottles of Belgian Amber Pauwel Kwak (RMB90). They do weekly deals like buy six Stella and get a free pint glass for RMB78 so you’ll check back to see if your favorites are on virtual tap. With a couple of outlets around town, they’ll do cold beer to your door within an hour, but last call is 9pm or 3:30pm if you live in the ‘burbs. Delivery is free if you order more than RMB200 in the hopped up good stuff or RMB10 if you just need a couple of bottles of Scrimshaw (RMB18) for the road and they can generally get it to ya within the hour.

Drink Fans
This bilingual website sells something for everyone and educates the masses of baijiu-ganbei’ing netizens. The site has a plethora of suggested concoctions and explains what ones does with a jigger. They’ve got a sizeable selection, from rare aperitifs to liquers including bottles of Baileys (RMB108) so you can top off your coffee every morning. With a vast selection offering ratings, rankings and suggestions on how the spirit is best served the hardest part is weeding through pages of random spirits before you find what you're searching for. While they won't guarantee delivery under two days, they'll bring your fix all the way to Anhui or Guangzhou.
