With a slow weekend for live music we have been given a chance to sit back and contemplate what gigs to checkout in the coming weeks. Luckily there are plenty of good shows coming up and here are our picks

Nov. 14th-15
Jeans Team, an electronic trio that has generated a lot of attention in their homeland, Germany, is in town for 2 nights. Friday at the MOCA and Saturday at Logo for the always entertaining STD parties. We hear they put on a great live show that goes way beyond just another electronic dj fiddling with his laptop.

Nov. 15th
After the Jeans Team show, you should head to Shelter where B6 is releasing a new album of his distinct minimalistic sounds.

Nov. 21st
Casino Demon and Fire Balloon from Beijing will be at Yuyintang, brought to us, again, by those STD people.

Nov. 22nd
New Pants....actually after the diss they laid on Regurgitator we don't recommend checking out these dusche bags unless you plan on throwing rotten tomatoes at the f*ckers.

Nov. 23rd
Moses Hazy from the Netherlands and Arrows Made of Desire from Beijing give us one more reason to skip the New Pants show. With a decidedly classic rock sound, Moses Hazy will be a nice alternative to the standard indie. One night only, at Yuyintang.

Nov. 29th
Subs are back in town!...and this time they are playing with a wicked new Beijing band, the Molds, who has been getting buzz for their Cramps/Jesus and Mary Chain like sounds. Screw Kylie.....head to Zhi Jiang Dream Factory for a real party.

Dec. 4th
Might not be in November, but Corrupt Absolute is a thrash band we seriously think you should see, playing at Yuyintang. Having toured China in the past, they bring insanely fast guitar licks picked up from touring with the likes of Slayer.

More people should be dissing Regurgitator, what a horrible band. Just a measure of the bad taste the music promoters in Shanghai have, no wonder its gone no where.
