Friday sports the weekend's biggest headliner, Japan’s DJ Ken- One at The Shelter courtesy of Quality Control. If you dig deck dexterity, you’re all over this.

Also Friday, celebrate the start of sweater weather with Junk at Captain Bar. Captain’s Bund- facing patio can’t be beat when the weather is choice; throw in some Antidote DJ’s and Beijing’s Mickey Zhang, and you’ve got a party.

Saturday is part one of the S.T.D. Regurgitator weekend at LOgO. Regurgitator is an Australian band with a very cheeky website that is totally worth a click. Zulumi is also on the bill, and if you haven’t seen the Beijing madman make 8- bit techno on modified Game Boys you should put down the Wii for a minute and check this one out.

Regurgitator part deux is Sunday at Yuyintang, with Echo Rush instead of Zulumi.

Finally, Sweatshop is back at The Shelter offering mass quantities of drum and bass. No headliner to speak of, but there might be some free merch, so there you are.

And remember, Halloween is just around the corner, so buy a costume already. Please don't dress up as a "preppy" or some other lame half- honest rehash of your regular wardrobe. If you don't have a costume prepared, then cut your face up with a Swiss Army knife and go as a zombie. THAT'S Halloween FOR REAL.
