James Blunt might not be the most beautiful man in the world but if you see his face in a crowded place (like the Mercedes-Benz Arena), you probably wouldn’t know what to do (besides screaming), ’cause the pop singer-songwriter is going to spend a couple of hours singing his most popular love ballads to you. The ex-army officer came to fame via two pop hits (“You’re Beautiful” and “Goodbye My Lover”) back in 2005 and was nominated five Grammys. In 2010, the posh Brit was crowned as the year’s “Hottest Male” at the Virgin Media Music Awards. Although originally written off as a one-hit wonder, the Ibiza-based singer’s career has continued a steady path with his second album certified gold after only four days of sales. His third album, Some Kind of Trouble released at number four on the UK charts. Instead of mass-producing albums ad nauseam, he has only released three albums, all receiving acclaim from critics. Tickets are selling out quickly, so get them now or you won’t get to hear how beautiful you are.
