Shanghai’s only English channel ICS is calling for adventurous and fun-seeking people for their upcoming reality TV Show “Shanghai Rush”, produced by an International production company Fly Films. If you’re a fan of “Amazing Race” and have passed the chance to show up in “Quest China”, don’t miss out on this opportunity and get ready to be a TV star in three month. Hand in your application form before Feb. 27 to enter. The show is schedule for May 2009.

Here is some useful information to know before you head out to find a teammate.

• All the contestants must be over 18 years old and fluent in English. Preferably, the team can consist of one local and one expat.


• Filming will go from March 12 to early April for 12 episodes (instead of 14 episodes announced earlier). All the contestants need to be able to participate in all-day filming throughout that month.


• The challenges will be spread out in 11 districts in Shanghai. The first and the last episode will take place in Pudong. Contestants will be assigned to explore little-known but valuable sites and landmarks.


• The winner of each episode will receive a "fetching" prize, that range from tickets to galas to a meal with celebrities. The contestants of the final champion team will receive a RMB100,000 worth prize each.


• An all-day audition will take place on Feb. 28.
