The Shanghai Culture Square Theater brings your favorite show tunes to the stage at its grand opening. Kicking off the celebration, is Ultimate Broadway―a musical showcase of songs from a collection of the most successful shows ever featured on Broadway. The show has been specifically produced for the Culture Square’s grand opening and is directed by Paul Warwick Griffin. The production takes audiences through several eras of Broadway musicals and includes iconic songs from famous musicals such as The Phantom of the Opera, Cats, Wicked, Chicago and Mamma Mia! Headlining are Brad Little (The Phantom of the Opera, Jekyll and Hyde), Eden Espinosa (Wicked, Brooklyn, Rent), Kevin Kern (Wicked, Les Miserables, Hair) and Ria Jones (Les Miserables, Cats, Evita), and they are joined by a 43-piece orchestra set and dancers from London’s acclaimed West End, the Shanghai Conservatory of Music and the Shanghai Theater Academy.
