2009 SILF Podcast: Jane Godwin on The Write Stuff

Jane Godwin engages young writers to engage in different ways of developing their own ideas for stories. Author of numerous children’s books, Godwin will explore the creative process and, using examples of her own work, will share how her own stories evolved. The workshop will explore the tools needed in order to write well, and through fun, easy activities, participants will do some writing, explore their own style and gain confidence in their abilities. Godwin, who is a publisher at Penguin Australia, will also talk about the publishing process and how books are actually made.
