The latest in the Huaihai Lu mega-club family, Club Honey Honey, has the formula down to the T. Sporting a sound and lighting system that would make anyone's jaw drop, the club is well packed every night with mostly locals. Much the comparison with any other Shanghai club, this new venue features resident DJs from around the world. However, the real treat is in the local Chinese DJ finds that one would normally expect from local-experts like Babyface or Club dkd. The décor of the place is futuristic, with a disco touch.

The bar, though not graced with English-speaking service, is well stocked beyond the well-expected whisky-and-green-tea. A cocktail sets you back around ¥40; a bottle, about ¥400. All in all, Club Honey Honey is a great experience if local is the name of your game. According to the management, the place is highly advertised in nearby cities and crowds are expected by the busloads for the upcoming weekend shows.
