Sultry Summer Drinks
Indigo

Bars situated on the Bund are often synonymous with glamour, luxury and elegance and in this respect, Indigo does not disappoint. While the interior doesn’t have a hint of the hue of its namesake, it still has a certain charm of its own. Step outside and you will encounter a balcony with a view befitting of its position on the bund. Cocktails like the lychee martini (¥80), sweet, light and ideal for a summer’s evening, are accompanied by more adventurous options like the kiwi-cucumber cocktail (¥75), which ventured away from the norm. The staff, though attentive, needed more knowledge when it came to the menu. The highly billed “888” cocktail (¥888), was without explanation, and after enquiring, we were still left confused about what it actually entailed.

Perfect For:

those who think Indigo is more than just a color

Add:

4/F, 6 The Bund, 6 Zhongshan Dong Yi Lu 中山东一路6号4楼 6321-5398

The Verdict: 3/5
