Since I am working on a restaurant project these days, I have checked out quite a few restaurants in Shanghai such as Amokka (Cafés), a new café restaurant on Anfu Lu. It has a charming air about it: delicious food and pleasant interior design. Go there for a lunch break and have the blue cheese. Or, go for the Sunday brunch with your favorite book and enjoy your time. Another great discovery is the Citizen Café (Cafés). The terrace on the second floor is the best spot for a relaxing lunch. Have an apple pie with ice cream for dessert while you people-watch.
