"I'm constantly inspired by the contrasts, randomness, liveliness of the streets and the never-ending visual stimulation of this city," says Anna. Xinyang Fashion & Gifts Market and Anna's funky red and silver shoelaces can be bought from any street peddler around Shanxi Lu. For the finishing touches, her hat, a reminder of her love of all things dress-up, was found at the ever eclectic Yu Gardens, as were the silver bracelet, ethnic beads and silver pendant of the handmade necklace that she made herself (I told you she was creative!).
