Patio Companion
As the weather's warmed up, we've found ourselves gravitating more and more toward outdoor spaces. Recently soaking up the sunshine on the patio at M on the Bund, we were compelled to order the famous M pavlova (￥108). Now, for those who have yet to indulge in this, we can only say, do. Their version of this traditional Australian dessert is the best in the city. Kiwi, strawberries, mango, dragonfruit, practically an entire fruit salad, heaped on top of a delicious meringue that has the perfect balance of sugary crispness on the outside and marshmallowy softness on the inside. We're tempted to order two every time we go, so you can consider yourself warned.
