Downward Roll
Strolling through the leafy lanes of the former French Concession, a new neighborhood shop on Changle Lu and Wulumuqi Lu caught our eye. The om-inspiring name and beach décor add a playful touch to this California-style sushi stop. While there are a few seats available for eating in, the venue specializes in take-away and offers delivery to the surrounding area as well as catering services throughout the city. "Yogafish rolls are hand-made, fresh everyday, healthy and fun to eat," says Yogafish co-founder Anthony Zhao. Personally, we love the Omega-Z roll (¥40)-delicious grilled eel with the delightful crunch of tempura crispies, all wrapped in succulent tuna sashimi. They've also got a small selection of side dishes and a modest but refreshing drink list. Don't miss their signature Milk Tea (¥12 / 15), we slurped down that special recipe in under a minute.
