CW: So, you come here often?
P&A: No, it’s our first time in China and we can’t wait. We’re playing three places–Shanghai, Guiyang and Shenzhen.
CW: Before you started mixing, you two were glamor models. Do you struggle to be taken seriously as DJs?
P&A: At first, people found it hard to take us seriously. But it’s like that for everyone in this industry. But we feel we have earned our stripes and proven that we are good DJs. We get asked back wherever we go.
Where’s the best club you two have played?
P&A: We love playing in Miami. We’ve just done our best gig so far at Liv on South Beach. They book DJs like Tiesto and Erick Morillo. We also love playing in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
CW: Who would be your dream DJ to play alongside?
P&A: Erick Morillo, David Guetta, Arman Van Helden, Tiesto and Sander Van Doorn.
CW: Do you tag team or do you each play your own style of music?
P&A: Sometimes we play back-to-back, 15 minutes on and off, or half an hour on and off. It’s usually a three- or four-hour set.
CW: Sin has on-stage shower booths. Guests can don bikinis and dance in the shower for the joy of all. Not really a question, just thought we’d mention it in case you wanted to bring your swimming costumes.
P&A: We were going to bring our bikinis anyway.
Lauren Pope and Kellie Acreman play at Sin on August 21.
