Living in Shanghai has many different aspects to it, one of which is the great variety of ways to spend your night. For me, a great night out in Shanghai goes like this: Gather with some friends at Vault Bar for an amazing view over the Bund, mingle on the dance floor and get some energy out while sipping some great martinis, and chat with friends between sips (I especially enjoy running into friends I haven't seen in a bit). Thursdays it's two-for-one martinis and the bar is always packed. Some nights are so good that I end up staying much later than I should. Unfortunately my next work day starts early, but in exchange for a great night out in Shanghai, there are no regrets.
