Arcade takes a fresh spin on the cocktail lounge concept, offering a classed up hangout for creative types. S.T.D.’s Reggie describes it as a “LOgO for kids who have grown up a bit.” The design is sleek yet retro. Exposed brick wall, leather couches, low lighting, wood and concrete elements welcome hipsters. A tight list of concoctions is meticulously executed―try the Shizohijito (RMB80), a Japanese take on the mojito. Rogue Dead Guy on tap is a nice touch. A floating counter doubles as a DJ booth, an old school video console chock full of quirky games pays homage to the ’80s while the indie electronica soundtrack keeps the places buzzing.
