After living in Shanghai for five years, I've just adapted well to the people here and love the city's nightlife. Before going to New York in the summer to pursue a career in dance, I'll definitely be around chilling with my friends in some of my favorite Shanghai bars. One of the places you'll definitely find me is Face Bar. I love its unique atmosphere and enjoy hanging out in one of their opium beds / couches with friends drinking a cocktail. The music at Face is always at a level where you can still hear each other talk--always a good thing. Lounging out here is one of my favorite Shanghai moments, especially if you're not looking for a crazy night out. Another place I like for its same unique coziness is Barbarossa, where my friends and I chill out in the cozy 1,001 Nights-style seating. If I want to go dancing afterwards, we head to Sugar at The Collection, where there is always great party going on.
