WHERE YOU EAT...if you're a paint-loving football player
Rami Jamal Abu-na'meh: Student of sports medicine and Chinese acupuncture
One of the first places I visited in Shanghai was an Italian chain called Saizeriya (Italian) and I've been a regular since then. The Margherita pizza is yummy and cheap--enough for my "student" wallet to afford once or twice a week. Being from Palestine, I often miss authentic Arabian food because eating it makes me miss home a little less. If I don't prepare hummus by myself, I go to 1001 Nights (Middle-Eastern) on Hengshan Lu where they serve authentic Arabian cuisine--I would say the best in town, and it even comes with a belly-dancer. When hanging out with my acting colleagues from East West Theater, we go to Blue Frog (American). Coming as a group, we often get an extra room to sit in. It's a great atmosphere which makes me feel like it's our own house party. My advice--try their salads.
