This event will hold an all day discussion around the crisis of ethics in China. Deep discussions will delve into how business leaders can try and regain the public’s trust, restore public confidence, and reclaim “dignity” in business dealings. These top leaders will focus in and question the core values of doing business in China, and whether or not they should work to change these for the better. The event is open to the public, but tickets come at the low low price of RMB 2800.

There will be two buses of 45 seats each at the metro line one at Xin Zhuang station from 8:30- 9:00AM to pick the audience up and send them off to People Square at 22:30 PM back. Those interested can call for more details at 139-1766-5215, 6271-5085, 6271-1346, or 5236-0071. It sounds like there will be some thought provoking discussion and translation into multiple languages.

"It sounds like there will be some thought provoking discussion and translation into multiple languages. " - Sure, but the chances of ANY of it being actually true is pretty slim. Also, for 2800/pax the buses should pick up downtown, at a suitable meeting point (and frankly, for that kind of dough for a 1 day event, the event itself shouldn't be in some random, bumblefuck out-of-town local hotel- you could get a 1 day at the Meridien for that price, easy.) Rip. Off.

Oh, I don't know Dave, we could go and make a game of it! Take a few brezeln from Lind, some of that awful seafood from the Marriott, the terrible bbq from Sun Island, a little pho from Pho sizzling... a pair of razor blades. We sit there listening to the self-aggrandizing drivel for an hour then we have a choice: we can continue to listen for the rest of the day, or we can kill ourselves, or we can leave but first we have to eat the food. Sounds like fun to me!
