Riding high on critical acclaim for his Azul/Viva, and 239 culinary ventures Peruvian chef Eduardo Vargas expands his empire - albeit almost covertly - with iiit!, a flash of trendy orange branding hidden in an apartment complex off Wulumuqi Lu. This cafe shares Vargas' trademark emphasis on quality ingredients and rich, delicious recipes but not his prices. Festooned with olives, Parma ham and blue cheese dressing is the iiiit! Salad (YY48), making a colourful accompaniment to the best paninis [I've had] in town (YY38 - 48). Smoothies too cut a liquid line above the rest. Try the Banana Apple Booster that comes laced with cinnamon (YY25- 35) for a strangely home-baked lift. With lunchtime deals (YY55-YY65) and party combos (YY150-350) iiit! is a secret garden of well-priced marvellous munchies.
