The dates have been set; the venues have been arranged and it looks like it’s going to be a great party. Look out for venue details, exact times and locations to be released a day or two before each event, to prevent any… ahem… complications. Keep checking back for more information as it emerges, I’ll fill you in as soon as I learn anything new. The dates and events scheduled are as follows:
11am-2pm Pink Picnic at Zhongshan Park
Get there: From Zhongshan Park metro station on line 2, take exit 4 and then enter Gate 1 of the Park about 50 meters away on the left. The group will be seated on the big lawn (there is a map at the entrance), go straight, take the left path, walk two minutes and you should see a group of crazy pink people. Bring your food, your drinks, your games, your friends and your funny pink accessories!

Volunteers are still needed to make everything run smoothly. Email firstname.lastname@example.org to find out how you can help. Buying Shanghai Pride stuff is also a great way to help out if you don’t have time to spare; friends from Shanghai LGTB have been offering t-shirts, pins, and other cool merch at Shanghai Studio most weekend evenings, every little bit helps especially in the last few weeks before we celebrate.
