Background： Blue Ocean Network (BON) will be the first English-language network for the West, with an extensive Online Web portal and a wide range of programming covering business, travel and family life and the interaction between China and the West. BON is independent, informative and entertaining. BON is owned and cross-managed by Skyarc Media Group which has 15 years of television network management experience as well as its own production facilities in China.
Television: BON provides the first English-language television network focusing on fulfilling the growing demand in the West for information about China. BON will become the primary bridge between China and the World. BON will be broadcast via internet IP technology, satellite and cable transmission.
Internet: currently under-construction. BON will also provide a fully featured online web portal in conjunction with to-television programming, covering all forms of information on China. The BON web portal works like a modern call-center providing consumers with free information in exchange for an opportunity to market advertising that is tailored to their needs. The internet will provide a platform for a variety of shows about China.
