Apple, Foxconn, and Chinese Workers: Separating Fact from Fiction Description
On Saturday, June 9th 2pm, Rob Schmitz, Marketplace’s China correspondent, will come to HKU Shanghai Study Centre to deliver a public lecture: "Apple, Foxconn, and Chinese Workers: Separating Fact from Fiction."
Rob Schmitz joined Marketplace in 2010. In March, he played the key role in exposing the fabrications in Mike Daisey’s account of Foxconn factories on This American Life and then was featured in that show’s much-discussed retraction episode.
