Honestly, I use City Weekend quite frequently. I organize and partake in quite a few events and when I want to spread the word without paying a hefty charge, then this website is the way to go. I also enjoy the chances to win tickets or prizes to attend cool events or take part in special promotions happening around town.
City Weekend is also cream of the crop for their detailed listings with addresses in English and in Chinese, so if I don't have a CW mag on me, the site is a good alternative. Actually, its a stronger alternative becasue people can put uo honsest comments about what they honestly think of a spot in Shanghai.
