Artnetworking is giving you a chance to delve into Master Yao HaiCheng’s world of art, namely the Five Elements and “Yimutology Life.” He developed a unique style of art which incorporates I Ching, the ancient Chinese system of divination based on Taoist philosophy. By incorporating the five elements, wood, fire, earth, metal and water, the artwork captures the cyclical and interactive nature of the universe. The works also convey a sense of equilibrium which is apparently the secret of achieving happiness. Allegedly, the works produced help to improve feng shui, solve problems and bestow good luck. And the only way to find out is to go!
