The SCAA has rounded up some of the hottest animal-loving hunks in the city and is auctioning them off in the name of a good cause. I'm a good sport, but I find this disconcerting. Billions of people in the world don't have access to clean water, to free housing, or to schooling for their kids. And we're worrying about a few mutts? I understand that we're the elite, the bourgeoisie, but for goodness' sake throw the dogs in the hot pot, where they belong, and get some perspective. To see people from liberal democracies behaving like medieval aristocracy is sickening.
