Last year scratch legend Dj Q-Bert rocked the wheels-of-steel in a performance that included guest appearances by many local stars of Shanghai’s hip hop community. In a completely unselfish, yet totally awe-inspiring display of turntablism skills, Q-Bert shared the spotlight with local b-boy breakdancers, MC’s, and even shared the decks with Dj Jobo who was jumping with pure joy afterwards!

As co-founder of the Invisibl Skratch Piklz (ISP), Q-Bert has been instrumental in drawing international attention to the art of turntablism, where the vinyl record player is used or “played” just as any other musical instrument is played by a musician.
