Join the AustCham Shanghai community for our traditional Australia Day celebration. The bountiful Family BBQ lunch brings families and friends, Australians and the like together to celebrate the Aussie way.

Feast on a bountiful BBQ featuring Australian beef medallions, veal sausages, cheese Krainer sausages, Cajun chicken, baked potatoes, salads, pasta and desserts.Kids canl indulge in mini meat pies, mini pizzas, hotdogs and fries. Dsserts aplenty with fruit, Pavlova, Lamingtons, Linzer tarts and creme brulee. Beer, soft drinks, coffee & tea are provided too. Purchase a bottle of quality Australian white or red wine for to compliment your meal. Celebrations include a speech by Ms Susan Dietz-Henderson, Australian Consul General followed by an official Australia Day toast, footage of memorable Aussie highlights of the past year, and an extra special raffle draw.

Family friendly activities on the day, include: Indoor heated pool, Jacuzzi, showers and sauna, Beach cricket by the lake, Kids corner- crafts and DVDs, and Popcorn stall.

We will take you away from the Shanghai hustle for the day and bring you safely back again. Buses depart the AustCham Shanghai Secretariat office at 9am, and leave Le Meridien She Shan at 3.30pm to return.

RSVP's for this event are open to AustCham Members from Tuesday 18th December 2007.

Tickets for the general public go on sale on Monday 7th January 2008.

Tickets will sell quickly so please make sure you get in early.
