More details on this exciting camp!
Just in time for Chinese New Year Holiday, Kidtown presents a special week long drama camp based on Dr. Seuss's classic story "Horton Hatches the Egg." The camp will culminate with a special performance based on the story. Through specially designed creative games, children will learn their lines without using boring old standard rote memorization. These useful skills can be transferred to learning facts in the classroom as well. The camp will also teach musical rhythm, rhyme, song and dance through three ORIGINAL compositions specially developed for the camp. This is a unique camp unlike any other and a great opportunity for children to learn drama, music, English, creativity, and public speaking.
The Drama Camp will be held Monday January 28 through Friday February 1 from 10am – 3pm. The teacher of this camp is a native English speaker who is also fluent in Chinese with an experienced children's musical theater background. Lunch will be provided by Kidtown. Please indicate any food allergies as parents are responsible to inform Kidtown of any special dietary needs. Cost of camp is 1800RMB.
