Whether just starting out on your vocal exploration, want to sing for fun and learn a few tunes, or, wish to fine tune and hone down in the hope of making a career out of singing, JZ School has a voice class for you!

Vocal Training Class

Singing without training can damage your vocal chords! Whether you want to learn how to dazzle in the KTV or wish to make the first steps towards becoming a crooner or a diva, Marta's workshop will provide an overview of the fundamentals and facilitate the first steps to building up repertoire.

• Learn how to warm up
• Placement of voice: chest, "break" area, and head voice
• Introduction to Ear Training or Solfege
• Posture Breathing

Beginning Jazz Voice

For singers aspiring to sing solo jazz. An exploration of styles, lyrics, delivery and repertoire in a supportive, informative and fun low-pressure group setting.

Teacher: Eddy Goltz

Class Duration: 8 weeks (8 x 90 Minute Sessions)

Time: Every Sunday at 4 – 5.30pm at JZ School.

Commences: March 2nd

Fee: 1800 RMB

Intermediate and Advanced Jazz Voice

Come sing jazz with New York pianist Steve Sweeting. Work on performing jazz standards in different styles. Learn new material. Practice your performance technique. Pick up arranging tips. Improve your ability to improvise. Wail the blues. Dare to scat. Harmonize with others in group songs. Work toward a final public concert. Have a blast and stay dry.
