'Endota Day Spa', which is located on The Mornington Peninsula in Victoria, Australia, is the most relaxing and inviting spa I have ever been to. From the fruit infused water to the calming music and welcoming staff, Endota is a pleasure from beginning to end. It is a beautiful retreat, located a healthy distance from the congestion of inner-city Melbourne. The best part is that it doesn't have the 'factory feeling' that most of the bigger chain spas have. I have only been there once, but shall return!

"Spreewald Therme" close to Berlin. The only spa I have ever been to, that provides you with a visual experience as well as a sensual, without beeing in any way tacky or over-designed. I wish all spas would be as exciting in their design!

Hey guys, thanks for your posts. The idea is to offer a review of spas in Shanghai rather than outside of Shanghai. You do this by, as it says above, going to the Health and Beauty listings, finding your favorite (or least favorite) spa and adding a review of it on the listing page. You have till Feb. 11. I've been to the SPA in Hilton and it's quite quiet and elegant. The SPA is part of their sports center and when I walked in I smelt the essence oil immediately ( I still remember it was lemongrass mix which was quite pleasant and relaxing).
First I went to the swimming pool and sauna. A friendly staff handed me a towel from a sterilizing cabinet. The towel was cool and refreshing,and smelt like mint and ginger. It’s all about the smell. The staff also started chit-chat such as the temperature of the water etc which is quite nice.
The SPA itself is comfortable and relaxing. The bed is soft and the temperature is comfortable. I fell asleep half way otherwise I would remember more.

Diva life Plusses: a purple heaven, colorful shabby chic decor, warms hands massaging my skin... Minuses: badly covered pop songs as faint (thankfully) background music (would have preferred something a bit more Zen), having to wear ridiculous looking puffy paper knickers...
