Description

Originally from Haiti, the Montrealer artist ATHESIA, launched her first album “Nostalgia” in 2004. This album is a subtle mix of “fado, tango, bossa nova and gypsy” with an additional touch of electronica. In 2005, Athesia also appeared on the album “New World Observer” by Deadbeat. With her perfect French, English, Creole and Portuguese, she is truly a citizen of the world.

NOUR, was brought up in Geneva in a family of musicians. She launched her first album “Les p’tits hommes” in 2005. As a singer, songwriter and lyricist, her songs are in the current of traditional francophone pop with lyrics bringing to life current affairs and daily situations. Her songs are a melodious blend of acoustic and modern sounds, inspired by jazz, gypsy, tango, bossa and traditional music. She and her group of musicians and singers envelop their lyrics and songs with fine-tuned originality.
