With the debut of a Tour de France special monthly lunch by Chef De Cuisine Michael Wendling, French food and wine lovers can look forward to a gastronomical experience every Saturday from 05 April 2008. Enhancing the enjoyment of the meal is a complimentary serving of a bottle of wine from the same region for a table of 4 or a glass of wine for each guest.
In monthly intervals, Allure will introduce a particular French region with a creative Saturday lunch menu. For the month of April, the region featured would be Alsace, France in specialties inspired by French and German influences, complemented with fine Alsacean wines. The highlights of the Alsace menu begin from the appetizer of Mini Ham Croissant, a full plate of starters such as Flammerkueche, Goose Liver terrine with Riesling, Baked snail with smoke bacon, French Boiled eggs, followed by a Salad Shaker, and guests can either choose a main course from Alibute a la nage, Bube Spatzle or Braised veal with gewürztraminer wine and organic lemon. As for the dessert, guest will experience a fruits discovery with the chef on the plate. In the meantime, guests can interact with French restaurant manager Fanny Cervera, exploring a wine discovery from the same region such as Hugel Gentil, Hugel Riesling or Hugel Pinot Noir.
