For novice chefs who wish to hone their skills in preparing home pasta, Chef de cuisine of Favola Italian Restaurant Christian Frigo will show participants how to make the most authentic Italian pasta – Egg Pasta on 10 May 2008.

A staple of Italian cuisine, pasta is made with dough that's kneaded and then fashioned into hundreds of different shapes and sizes. Aspiring chefs young and old will be taught by Chef Christian Frigo how to make first step toward a good pasta quality and show how to shape a variety such as long ribbons, stands, tubes and fanciful shapes. In June, the class features Pasta dough and July class features various pasta formats.

Priced at RMB410 per person, every second Saturday of the month 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon, followed by a family-style lunch in Favola Italian Restaurant or RMB1, 998 for Master Certificate Cooking Class (monthly 8 sessions), enrolment in “The Cooking Class” is limited to 20 participants per master class. The price is subject to 15 percent service charge.
